National Sales Executive
Department: Sales
Reports To: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful and stable growing corporate travel company has an excellent opportunity for a motivated commission salesperson. You must have prior success selling high-end conceptual solutions and products to top executives at medium and large size companies in a highly competitive market. You must have exceptional hunting and closing skills, be effective overcoming resistance and be able to work independently without supervision. You must be a hard-working self-starter and have the desire to earn more than your current income. You must have at least 3-5 years of stable sales experience in the travel industry, be trainable, and have tremendous desire to earn over $200,000 annually within 2 years. Experience with travel technology is helpful. You must have prior annual income of at least $100,000.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
- Ability to identify and develop solutions to prospective clients’ needs/problems
- Ability to communicate those solutions to a wide array of influencers and decision makers
- Ability to provide accurate and timely reporting of activities
- Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
Duties and Responsibilities
- Secure and/or attend corporate appointments, primarily in the Southeastern United States, with decision makers about corporate travel.
- Close corporate clients with annual travel volume in the range of $750,000 to $20,000,000.
- Work closely with VP of Sales, executive team, and account management to close potential corporate prospects
- Maintain an annual quota of $10M in new account air sales
Credentials and Experience
- Five or more years of outside sales experience in the travel industry
- Proven track record
